Agency Training Plan (ATP) Resource Kit

An Agency Training Plan (ATP) is a management tool. Its purpose is to identify and prioritise the training needs of the organisation.

The Victorian Department of Human Services(DHS) requires funded disability service provider must comply with the relevant standards applicable to the disability service provider



This ATP Resource Kit has been developed to

  • assist disability agencies to identify their training needs in the context of their unique agency requirements.
  • assist agencies to prioritise their identified training needs and formulate a plan of implementation.
  • provide resources which will help agencies to complete the ATP process; and
  • provide a comprehensive approach to agency training planning which can assist agencies to meet the relevant sections of the DSAS.

The ATP kit was developed in June 2000. Some information in the kit may have dated but the planning process outlined is still appropriate.
