Recently we chatted with Edwin Raj who is one of Field’s recent graduates.

We asked him about his experience with studying with Field and where his studies will lead in the future. Here’s what he had to say:

Do you work in the disability or Aged Care sector?

Aged Care sector

Do you enjoy your job? What does your job involve?

I love my current job with a passion. It is a very rewarding career. It will help me start in the nursing field. My job involves in-home care nursing for elderly clients who are in the stages of end of life care and giving them the reassurance and quality in maintaining their everyday life.

How long did it take you to find your role after you finished studying with Field?

When I finished at Field at the end of August 2018, I found a job just 2 weeks after, which was the first week of September.

How did you find the whole experience of studying with Field?

Absolutely amazing, with no regrets. The staff have been very supportive and a big shout out to my teachers Darren and Ester for being great teachers. A big thank you to Field for their dedication and support.

Have you any advice for people thinking about doing a Field course/s?

Anyone who is wanting to start nursing, this is a great step up to advance your nursing career. This qualification in the aged care and the disability sector can take you a long way in life. The overall aspect of the course really delves into the foundation of nursing.

We wish Edwin all the best in his future career.
