WHY DID YOU APPLY TO BE A TRAINER WITH FIELD?
I had been facilitating with Sage (another training provider) and was devastated when the company closed, so was very excited to see the opportunity to apply for a position at Field.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR ‘TRAINING STYLE’?
I encourage active participation in a fun environment as well as giving examples from many years of experience in the Aged and Disability sectors.

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO GET ACROSS TO STUDENTS ABOUT PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?
To listen and treat people with respect.

NOW WE WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT A BIT ABOUT YOU… WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE?
Stand By Me

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I am a ‘Calisthenics mum’ which involves costume sewing, attending competitions and being actively involved with all aspects of the sport.

I LOVE WORKING FOR FIELD BECAUSE…
I believe everyone has a genuine concern for the sector and really do want to make a difference. Plus it is a really friendly work environment.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE SECTOR…
Be adequately funded and a priority for the Government along with improved community inclusiveness.
